My name is Iuri T. Melo, LCSW.  I was born in Mozambique, Africa, though after only a year moved to Portugal.  I lived there until I was 15 years old and then moved to Provo, utah.  I completed High School there and then attended College at several universities, finally concluding my studies at the University of Utah with a Masters in Social Work.  I have worked in a variety of settings, all of which I enjoyed, yet individual therapy was always my passion, and in my mind, what I was born to do.  So, for the past 6 years I have been a private clinician working with a variety of clients.  It’s amazing to go to work everyday and now that you are going to love every minute of it.

I consider myself to be incredibly blessed and fortuned to have married my amazing wife of 11 years, Katie.  Together we have 4 children, who are incredible and surprise me on a daily basis.  I’m an avid climber and guitar player and absolutely love the ocean.
